ABOUT
I began working in architecture at 16 with Zinn Architecture + Interiors and, since then, have built a repertoire of experiences through summer internships, education, and collaboration that could be helpful to your studio. At Zinn AI, I worked on commercial and residential construction and remodeling in Jacksonville, Florida. At The Haskell Company, I worked on hangars for the Department of Defense, charter schools, and aerospace projects such as Blue Origins in Florida. At Gresham Smith Partners, I worked on healthcare projects for the University of Florida, where I learned the challenges and opportunities of the design and construction of institutional buildings. Each firm allowed me to gain experience in design and construction challenges across multiple markets.
In March 2022, I won the ASCA AIA COTE Top 10 Award for Students with my adaptive reuse project, Epimorphic. The project focused on renovating two hangars at Floyd Bennett Feild in New York with cutting-edge technology and design for a zero carbon footprint. My education at Parsons School of Design and the University of Florida gave me multiple experiences with designing urban and rural building types, team building, collaboration, and leadership. Each summer, working for the best companies in the nation, I got to see how my education in architecture, engineering, and sustainability is utilized in the real world.
My portfolio reflects experience with many building types, from adaptive reuse (Epimorphic) to factory hybrids. I graduated with a Masters in Architecture in May 2023 with a 3.9 GPA. While studying at Parsons, I was employed as a Teaching Assistant for Spatial Representation II for the Masters of Architecture program at Parsons. I was also an invited critic twice for the Masters of Architecture Studio I course. I graduated with a Masters in Architecture in May 2023 with a 3.9 GPA.
I can identify the core questions and subsequent solutions. I have spent significant time studying and developing my ability to design intelligent, evocative architecture that aims to elevate the human experience.
